With feet hip-width apart and a slight bend in the knees, the movement consists of hinging at the hips while keeping the back straight, then returning to the starting position by engaging the glutes and hamstrings. It targets the hamstrings, glutes, and lower back, creating posterior chain activation during the movement. A resistance band is required.
